Redzuan suggests haters of the flying car to ride bamboo cars instead

Minister of Entrepreneur Development, Datuk Redzuan Yusof has responded to the critics of Malaysia’s first flying car. He said that those who criticised the prototype of the flying car can get a bamboo car instead.

The flying car protype was unveiled by Redzuan during the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace (LIMA) 2019 exhibition. The design was heavily mocked by the public, particularly on the propellers for resembling mini fans.

Unfortunately, his response turned out to be an invitation for more criticism. Netizens ridiculed the minister again by posting images of “bamboo car”.

Aside from the photos, comments from the netizens were not kind either as most of them were poking fun at Redzuan and his comment.

With the negative public reaction on the flying car prototype, will the project proceed? If it does, how would the Entrepreneur Development Minister address the matter in the future without being ridiculed again?
