Tabung Haji leads GLiC in the media

One of the Government Linked Investment Companies (GLiC) which has been getting much attention from the media is Tabung Haji (TH) with 65.01% share of voice in the last seven days, followed by Khazanah Nasional Berhad (Khazanah) with 24.02% and Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) with 10.97%.

On the other hand, Retirement Fund (KWAP) had the least media coverage, with Bernama only reported 15 news in the past month.

In addition, Sinar Harian wrote more than 100 TH news in the past month, particularly on the 1.25% dividend given to TH’s depositors, which is said to be the lowest dividend in its history.

Bernama reported despite that, depositors still have their faith in TH.

Other issues surrounding TH include the economy of Malaysia, its relation to 1MDB and Felda, as well as the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) investigating the organization’s finances.

It seems like the controversies are endless, putting TH at the media front lines for all the wrong reasons.
