In Malaysia, the average salary of dentist is higher than CEO

 

According to salaryexplorer.com, the occupation with the highest average salary in Malaysia is dentist, beating chief executive officer (CEO).

 

As of September 2019, the average salary of a dentist was recorded at RM18,209. The second position with the highest average salary is CEO, at RM18, 140.

 

However, the gap between the average salary of those two jobs was close, with a difference of only RM69.

 

On the other hand, the average salary for chief finance officer (CFO) was at RM16,792. Thus, the gap between the average salary of CEO and CFO was wider, at RM1,348.

 

In general, the average salary of a Malaysian in the first three quarter of 2019 was at RM7,872. Whereas, the average wage per hour was at RM45.
