The highly-anticipated 1MDB trial involving former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak has finally begin on August 28.

Looking at 1MDB media exposure, its trend was on a declining trend since June. It peaked in May with almost 2,500 news articles. In the first four days of September, there have been over 250 articles published in relation with the 1MDB scandal.

With the ongoing trial, it is expected for 1MDB to beat its record in May.
