Majority of children abuse cases in Malaysia were caused by family dispute

It was heart-wrenching to read news about the death of a baby boy Adam Rayqal. As a countermeasure, Women and Family Development Minister Dr Wan Azizah said that the ministry will examine the laws and regulations that can be tighten to ensure the tragedy will not be repeated.

 

In Malaysia, child abuse cases are still rampant particularly in the Klang Valley. Besides, there are various reasons for this crime to happen, primarily it is because of family dispute (18.65%). Let’s take a look at Malaysia child abuse statistics to understand further about the social issue.
