The new Johor EXCO line-up has been revealed on April 22. Osman Sapian who resigned as the state Menteri Besar was dropped from the new line-up. His portfolio of natural resources, administration, finance, planning and economic development were taken over by his successor Sahruddin Jamal.

Besides, Mazlan Bujang and Tan Hong Pin were also dropped from the State EXCO.
