DAP’s Tony Pua is one of the earliest critics of 1MDB. After PH victory in GE-14, he did not enter the Cabinet, instead he was appointed as a special officer in the Finance Ministry along with Ong Kian Ming. Later, Ong Kian Ming was elected as the Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry, but Tony Pua remains in the Finance Ministry as the political secretary to Lim Guan Eng.
