Netizens Tired of Nurul Izzah Drama

In a swift U-turn, Permatang Pauh MP Nurul Izzah Anwar rejoined the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) after resigning from her post just last month, citing the Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s insistence to keep Bersatu’s Ronald Kiandee as PAS’ chairman as her reason.

Previously, Nurul Izzah not only resigned, but also professed her disappointment and “broken heart” to Singapore media after having to work with Mahathir, whom she described as a “former dictator”.

The decision to come back was made after Mahathir tabled a motion to replace Kiandee with Barisan Nasional’s Noraini Ahmad as a chairperson.

Nurul Izzah’s resignation was met with criticism from netizens, including a fellow PKR lawmaker and Economic Affairs Minister Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali who labelled her as a “cry baby”.

Now, her return to PAC is also being criticised, as the netizens are getting tired of her “drama”.
