Eye on Lim family over DAP National Congress

The Lim family, especially Lim Guan Eng and Lim Kit Siang are the topics that are being focused on the most by the media during DAP national Congress.

During the Congress, the 81-year-old Iskandar Puteri MP, Lim Kit Siang announced his is retiring from politics. However, he will remain as the Party Mentor, a newly invented position. In the same time, Lim Guan Eng taking on the helm of the National Chairman.

The list of DAP media shares shows that Free Malaysia Today is the media portal that covered DAP news the most with 276 news in total, followed by Malaysia Must Know The Truth with 180 news.

In a week period, Free Malaysia Today remained as the top media portal that shares DAP topic news with 62 news in total. The only two Malay language portals are Malaysiakini BM with 31 news and Utusan with 19 news.

In March, it can be seen from the graph above that there is a peak exposure for DAP news before moving moderately starting from 20 March, and the exposure gets to sustain for a few days after.

Meanwhile, the portal that holds the highest number of media share on DAP goes to Free Malaysia Today, almost reaching 300 news in total for the 30 days period.
