GE15: The New Kingmakers
Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) and Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) have been dubbed the kingmaker for the 15th General Election.
With confidence over their influence in the Borneo block, they believe that the winning coalition during GE15 must form a pact with them to form a stable government.
Data shows that in the past 14 days, Barisan Nasional (BN) appeared as the media focus for GRS topic, possibly due to their long-history during the previous GE.
Data shows that Pakatan Harapan reps appear in the influencers list of GPS due to the unlikely-to-happen coalition between the two due to the past bickering between DAP and Abang Johari Openg.
However, experts believe that GPS will have the upper hand thus the winning coalition must meet Sarawak’s demand to form a pact and gain the right to govern.
Surprisingly, while PH is notable in the GPS topic, it is highly contradicting for GPS as it only managed to take up a small space in the data.
Nonetheless, Anwar Ibrahim remains confident that PH can gain enough seats from Sarawak voters to form a government without the hand of GPS.
