KEMAS provided childcare and education for more than 229,799 children

Under the Ministry of Rural Development, there is Community Development Department (KEMAS) that provide early childhood education to the people. It provides both Tabika and Taska centres. To avoid confusion, Taska provide nursery care for adolescences under the age of four, while Tabika will provide pre-school education from four to six years old.

There are 499 classes in KEMAS Taska and 11,206 classes in KEMAS Tabika nationwide. Overall, it provided childcare and education for more than 229,799 children in Malaysia.
