The association of DAP with communists

Earlier this week, Ketereh MP Annuar Musa claimed that DAP had collaborated with communists in the past. The former Rural Development Minister added that he had documented evidence to prove his claim.

His remark caused an outrage in the Dewan Rakyat. Speaker Mohamad Ariff Md Yusof tried to mediate the situation and ordered Annuar to retract his statement. However, Annuar deflected the bullet and clarified that he didn’t associate the current DAP leaders with communism, instead his statement was made just to remind them that DAP worked with communists in the past.

It can be seen as a retaliation towards Lim Guan Eng and Nga Kor Ming’s comments on the UMNO-PAS collaboration.

Lim claimed that the collaboration threatens to incite a war with the non-Muslims in the country. Meanwhile, Nga said the UMNO-PAS union could lead the nation into a Taliban-like state.

Annuar’s actions did not stop in the Dewan Rakyat. He later tweeted a page from a book describing how DAP won the 1969 PRU with the help of communists.

It is believed that the page is from the book “DAP BAHAYA KEPADA MELAYU DAN ISLAM DI MALAYSIA”. The book was produced by think-thank group AIDC.

Going by an old blog by AIDC, it is obvious that the think-thank group has always been a critic of DAP.
