Positive Sentiments as Immunisation Programme Sets in Motion

 

Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin’s news title sentiments have slightly recovered from the previous day as the National COVID-19 Immunisation Program (NIP) is set to roll-out this Feb 26, 2021.

 

Earlier on, Muhyiddin’s news sentiments has turned negative after former prime minister Mahathir Mohamad claimed that Muhyiddin’s governance made Agong seemed like a ‘cruel dictator’.

 

However, Muhyiddin announced on the following day about the NIP and that he will be the first person to get the Covid-19 vaccine jab alongside other frontliners on the first day of the immunisation programme.

 

Aside from that, he also launched the programme’s handbook for the general public’s reference on the guidelines of the NIP.

 

This has resulted Muhyiddin’s news sentiments to shift to a more positive and neutral light.

 

 

Furthermore, news related to the Covid-19 vaccine has become the most prominent within the top issues for the Muhyiddin Yassin topic on Feb 16.

 

Although the media also highlighted about on Parliament and Pakatan Harapan, most of the top issues linked to Muhyiddin revolves around the Covid-19 vaccine.

 

 

Moreover, Muhyiddin and his coordinating minister for the NIP has maintained their position as the top influencers for the COVID-VACCINE MY topic for the past month and week.

 

This goes to show that the Perikatan Nasional government is steering through the Covid-19 pandemic.
