SOP remained prominent issue for PRN Melaka, media analysis shows.

Data shows that SOP remained the focus with the highest exposure amongst all other issues for PRN Melaka, with the health minister, Khairy Jamaluddin leading the narration.

The table below shows that the issues of SOPs announced by Health Ministry remained as one of the dominant issues regarding PRN Melaka during 24^th -26^th October.

The influencer list below shows that Health Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin was leading the narration of PRN Melaka issue as he was announcing the SOPs for the incoming PRN Melaka’s.

Meanwhile, the leading position of the leaders of two political coalition PN that leads by Muhyiddin Yassin and BN that leads by Ahmad Zahid Hamidi had dropped from the top of the list during 21^st -23^rd October to the lesser position during 24^th – 26^th October.

Senior Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein said that the government must balance between health, safety and civilian right.

He also said that it is compulsory of having strict SOPs so that everything that Malaysians have done in response to COVID-19 will not go down the drain just because of one state election.

Besides, Johor’s People’s Justice Party(PKR) had opposed to the idea that allowing  the four Melaka state assemblymen who recently caused the collapse of the state government and triggered the state election to contest under any Pakatan Harapan (PH) component party.
