The Palace in Focus

With the number of Covid-19 cases continues to surge, the palace has arranged meetings with political leaders, including the parties that have yet to be registered.

Ever since the news has reported about the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah has called for audience, it is shown in the top issues for the state of emergency topic.

Apart from that, a few political leaders also appeared in the influencers list, as they have become the centre of attention by the media.

Among the listed political leaders, only PAS which was led by Abdul Hadi Awang has pledged their alliance and support with the prime minister, Muhyiddin Yassin, whereby the rest are contradicting.

Looking at the statistics, the news about the King has granted audience has caused the news exposure to surge on the 9th of June, the day where political leaders started to see the King.

However, despite of the spike in news exposure, the news sentiment of the state of emergency is highly dominated by neutral sentiment, especially on the 9th.

Nonetheless, with the King has granted audience from the political leaders, it has set all eyes on the palace despite the state of emergency supposed to be lifted in 1st August.
