Is Anwar Ibrahim still the voice of Pakatan Harapan?
In the wake of the passing of Budget 2021, Anwar Ibrahim has caused a commotion among Pakatan Harapan leaders after giving the eleventh-hour instructions to stand down on the budget voting.
The aftermath of Budget 2021 debate fiasco has triggered anger and confusion from Pakatan Harapan supporters as many were hoping for the coalition to reject the budget.
This has resulted other top leaders such as Azmin Ali, Mahathir Mohamad and Muhyiddin Yassin to steer Pakatan Harapan’s influencers list, leaving the opposition leader in fourth place.
Apart from Anwar, Amanah President Mohamad Sabu and and DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng were the only representation from the Pakatan coalition.
Other than the losing of Pakatan Harapan narration, Anwar Ibrahim’s was also facing pressure from fellow comrades.
Among those leaders are Amanah Vice President, Mujahid Yusuf Rawa who regretted opting against the bloc vote and DAP Youth Secretary Eric Teh Hoong Keat who demanded an apology from the Anwar Ibrahim.
If we look at Anwar’s news exposure in November, it has drastically decreased from almost reaching six thousand news in October to only two thousand news in November.
