Who is up for the DPM hot seat?

UMNO focus turn back the Deputy Prime Minister post amid budget debate at the committee level and 2 by elections.

Despite the budget is still debating at the parliament level, UMNO had turned their focus on the DPM post recently, with UMNO leaders, such as Tajuddin and Shahril Hamdan, pressing Muhyiddin on that.

This came in despite UMNO President Zahid Hamidi re-stated that Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin should not be pressured regarding the DPM post. Regardless, UMNO Vice President Ismail Sabri said that UMNO will reiterate the DPM post once the debate on Budget 2021 ends.

Other than the DPM post, the tension between UMNO and PPBM leading the news around the former party. Datuk Ahmad Jazlan Yaakub says UMNO made big scarification to work with PPBM, while Muhyiddin, says it was the God will that bring the two parties together.

However, Muhyiddin did not comment on the issues around deputy Prime Minister posts.

Even though Zahid Hamidi is the president of his party, he came in second after Najib Razak in the share of voice between UMNO leaders.

Despite the pressure from UMNO leaders over the DPM post, UMNO as overall, was lead by voice other than their own leaders.

Annuar Musa and Minister of International Trade and Industry Azmin Ali is seen leading the UMNO influencers list after Muhyiddin Yassin, instead of Zahid Hamidi or Najib Razak.

Despite being repeatedly attack within the UMNO, Annuar Musa pledges his loyalty toward UMNO, claiming that he will not leave UMNO over PPBM.
