RM10,000 fine reaction

The social media was shaken after the recent incident where the RM10,000 fine which was supposedly meant for repeated SOP violators were issued to many people last weekend.

Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Ismail Sabri reiterated that people issued with the RM10,000 compound can appeal to the District Health Office (PKD) for a lower fine.

The issue on police officials issuing the hefty compound to citizens have resulted to citizens taking it to social media.

Out of the ten clusters from the issue, most of them were negative and sarcastic response towards the compound.

Aside from that, @LagaCawan also incited that some government officials have already violated the SOPs and hinted the cycling event that was attended by Housing and Local Government Minister Zuraida Kamaruddin.

Nonetheless, the Minister affirmed that the event was not a “fun ride” as allegedly claimed on social media.

Meanwhile, one cluster pointed out about the protest in front of the Parliament during the same weekend when people protested about the hefty fine on social media.
